Good morning and happy Holidays to all you folks! Been lurking off and on for a few years now. Africa has been a bucket list destination since I was knee high watching hunting shows on the outdoor channel with my grandfather. I am finally at the point of planning my first trip to Africa! Fortunately I married an amazing woman who was completely on board with Africa being a honeymoon destination! We are planning to chase plains game in Namibia in '27 with intentions of returning for an anniversary trip in 5 years. Hopefully our second trip will include some dangerous game! I will make an additional post for the questions I have towards the trip in other threads but if you have any info or comments for a first timer go ahead and leave them!

My fiancée and I did our honeymoon (although it was a month before we got married) in Namibia in 24 on a plains game hunt with Divan Labuschagne Safaris, it was a spectacular life changing experience and we are already planning out next trip back to his concession in the Caprivi Strip for buffalo. That is a beauty of a Kudu! We are planning to do Kudu our second trip, my wife has a vision for a his and hers shoulder mount but our current house doesn't have the room for them so she has settled for adding some cool euro mounts from the trip we are planning!
