Anybody else have their new Ruger .280 AI in yet? Now to make some ammo for it....

I hope they don't make too many, probably not going to be a big hit. Sure doesn't interest me.

Have fun with your new rifle.

I’m with y’all. The only reason I bought it, is bc I have all the others ones. I don’t think I’m even going to scope it or shoot it. I have as much use for another so-so .284 as I do for nipples on a boar hog.

Nice addition Glenn

Not shooting it makes reloading for it much easier. :D
Congrats on the new addition.

Does this complete the collection or are there more to come?

I’m good until next year. Unless you count the .223, but I don’t since it isn’t the same style exactly.
I have the .275 Rigby, 6.5x55, 9.3x62, and then this abomination of a African caliber .280 AI. Anybody know if I’m missing any besides what was listed in the special edition?

Also have the .375 Ruger and the .338 WM. So I need the .416 Ruger and .300 WM in regular run.

You could count the .223 because it has the express sights and barrel band, just earlier vintage and no ebony tip. But then there was an earlier version of the 9.3x62 also;)

And all the Express models, and RSMs:)

I have the RSM in .416 Rigby, and the African in .275. Guess I’ll make do with Big and Little Rigby until a 9.3x62 comes my way.

I would like one if the RSMs and the one of the express. They are pretty slick looking rifles.
I’m having to lie to myself about the .223 and using a the ebony tip as an excuse. The original 9.3 I think is going to be next to impossible. Only like 100 made?

Glen, I have one of the early model RSM .375 HH (with the barrel band under the forearm) that I have never fired. The previous owner bought it to go to Africa, many years ago, but never did. He took it to the range once then placed it in his safe until I bought it two years ago. This particular rifle has always been for sale since I have owned it, just don't advertise it. I also have the Ruger African 9.3x62 I bought new just over a year ago to hunt Africa this upcoming September, (if the virus mess is over). If my hunt gets cancelled or I change my mind and take my M70 .375, it could be for sale with the box and factory trinkets. BUT, I have shot it alot. Keep me in mind if you decide you must have one of these rifles!

Hello,

I saw your post selling left hand rifles. Do you have any additional pics of the .416 Rem mag?

Thank you.
