New old guy from the Rockies

Wanted to say hello. Have appreciated the threads/discussions over the years and the things I've gleaned, figured I'd go official with an intro. Born and bred in the rockies, love hunting anything really. Been to Africa 3 times and 3 more trips planned 23'-24'. Currently looking at places in Swakopmund to eventually retire if I can convince the Mrs....lol.

Lots of good times and memories in the Grey's. Still get there often. Sounds like we have the same stomping grounds. You still in WY?

I’m on the east side of Wyoming now. I lived most of my life in that valley. I couldn’t quite keep up with the money that came in from California during the pandemic.

I do hunt the Greys as often as possible though.

I get that, been rough here too. I was out hunting speed goats last fall with a buddy by Evanston. I think I'm at 9 points this year, so I expect my son and I will give it a go if we get lucky. We're big WY fans. - Except Rawlins, seems I break down every time I go past there...lol

Thank you sir! I assume you're located in the Khomas mountains? My first trip to Africa as a younger man was there. Most memorable trip of my life. Used to have 60" kudu running around back then.

Welcome officially to AH from rural Idaho. That is so wonderful that you have three more trips planned. So exciting. I’m hoping we can go again in 2024 or 2025. Good luck convincing the Mrs to go to Swakopmund . I have no idea where that is! All the best and happy adventures. Sue
