Hi Jim, welcome to the forum. I noticed you booked a hunt with Kowas. My wife and I hunted with the Strauss family in 2011, 2017, and will be heading back in 2021. In my opinion you made a great choice. They run a first class operation. I too am from Pennsylvania, about 50 miles north of Harrisburg. Practicing off sticks is critical because that will probably be the only choice in Africa. Although Kowas May have some blinds at waterholes.
