I thought I would share this with people who know. I bought a heym 88b side lock from a AH member. Here is a pic of first shots at 50 yards of the bench. I am very pleased

First two shots high. It was regulated with federal classic 300 grains. I don't have any so loaded 300 grain swift a frames with reloader 15 to match the volocity. Lucky for me they seem to regulate very well with this load. Only concerned with regulation here. I will sight in next trip to the range.

Correct - verifying regulation as you have done is the way to go. Good job.
Then next step adjust rear sight and confirm elevation - you can work out yourself if point of impact is top of bead.
My Heym 88b 470NE is generally top of bead. Sitting beautifully in the rear sight ivory triangle.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!

Who's this C. W. Richter? Seems to have a chip on his shoulder.
