New Credit Card Rules for Gun Shops

One thing, it is for items bought from a firearm related dealer. If you buy a gun safe for X amount it will be tagged.

CC companies have been monitoring purchases for years. One year I got a phone call from Discover card saying I had a lot of firearms related purchases. Asked why? I said I am a hunter and a competitive shooter. They asked if it would continue, and I said yes. They cancelled my Discover card a short time later for "business reasons".
That’s absurd

That is correct. I deal with adding new MCCs to the system at my bank and this code has been pulled back by VISA and others. I will let yall know if this changes in the future

I don't believe this is a government regulation. I read it is a self imposed rule by the big banks.
More go Woke go broke. Some shops already chage extra for using cards, may be in the form of a discount for cash or check.

Please do. It was my understanding also that this self-imposed bank practice had ceased.
I can only speak for my particular bank. There is no system in place at all to track any type of firearm related purchase.

Now if the new merchant category code (MCC) had been put in, my bank still would not care about individual transactions regarding that particular MCC right now, but that's not to say that other banks that are run by cultural marxists wouldn't use that data for nefarious purposes. Or that VISA or other processors wouldn't give that info to the government. Or that the government wouldn't enforce some kind of nonsense regulations regarding firearms and then would use the MCC to enforce it at the bank level (certain transactions triggering regulatory measures such as reporting).

Speaking from experience, the MCC was just the first step in implementing the above ^^.

Another piece of the pie is retailers actually listing their merchandise under the new code. I would imagine that smaller retailers would ignore it but larger retailers would be on board. I am ignorant to how that all works though.

What about the digital currency central bank thing?
Let hope states rights puts an end to that like it did this MCC. Just the threat of lawsuits and the inability to apply an MCC across select states killed that. I know Desantis is already taking or has taken action against the digital currency

I hope states take action against it or else it will be sparking the tinderbox. That will spell the end of individual freedom.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
