NAMIBIA: Kowas Safaris My First Time Hunting In Africa

A jackal at about a hundred yards was my only miss in africa! it was off handed and the jackal was moving,no exuses.lol
glad you had a great trip like the others I would encourage a detailed report! keeps the rest of us sane!
You just need to practice more..:ROFLMAO:

Great first trip. I love that Kudu.
I'm booked with Kowas for 2020 and can't wait. It'll be my 3rd safari, but first time to Namibia. The Strauss family has been great to communicate and help plan the trip.
If you have time would really like to hear some more of the hunt details. Helps the rest of us bide the time until we are over there again.

Thankfully no rugby-tackling drills for me. My body and temperament are better suited to sitting by the fire, eating fresh game meat, drinking red wine and recounting wild adventures and tall tales in equal measure!!

We had this conversation at Kowas because I teach and coach in Texas. It was very interesting that when I returned home and we started football staff meetings and our Defensive Coordinator starting talking about developing the rugby tackle into our program. I had been taught by some very knowledgable people.

We did a bunch of the sitting by the fire, eating well, and telling stories too. (y)(y)(y)

If you only knew how MANY skilled and experienced hunters MISSED their first shot on jackal!!! It's very weird, but certainly true...

Beautiful animals and glad you loved Namibia, from a fellow Canadian.

Such a wonderful country with such great people.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
