We have one end-of-year leopard hunt in our concession hunting area in Kaokoland.
All of our concessions combined stretches over more than 2.5 million acres of unfenced hunting land..
The cost of a leopard hunt is as follow:

Kaokoland leopard hunt 2023 (minimum of 14 hunting days)
Day rate: USD 650 (excl 15% VAT) per day
Leopard trophy fee: USD 5500 if shot or wounded
  • This hunt is available for 2023 ONLY
  • Hunt can take place until 30 November 2023
  • We would recommend 14 hunting days, to have the best chances of a successful hunt
  • Additional cost: Once off transfer fee of USD 650 per vehicle, 15% VAT on wounded animals
  • Pre-baiting and conservancy fees is included in this hunt

Please contact us at info@jamyhunt.com if there is any questions regarding this hunt.

Thank you!

Regards,
Jamy Traut Hunting Safaris Team

Tremendous offer with it including pre-baiting. Very nice. Someone grab this!

What all is included in the day rate?

What are my other cost?

Hello,
The hunt will take 14 days and cost is 650 USD per day.
What happen if leopard will be hunted in 3-4 days? Still need to pay 650x14?
If I want to hunt regular game after the leopard is hunted, will the price be 650 per day there too?
kind regards,
Dmitry

Good morning John,

The daily rate includes accommodation in our camps, food drinks, vehicle, PH etc.
The additional cost would be a once-off transport fee of USD 650, any before or after hunting expenses, trophy fees.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!

Hi Dmitrijs,

Yes, the hunt is a minimum of 14 hunting days, no matter on what day the leopard is successfully hunted.
If the leopard is hunted on day 3, for example, you still pay for the full 14 days.
The remaining days can be spent doing plainsgame hunting in the area, or in any of our other hunting areas in Namibia.
We can move you around to different areas, if there are specific plainsgame species wanted that is not available or on quota in Kaokoland.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!

Does the hunt take place on cattle farms?

What has past success been?

No, this hunt will take place in our Kaokoland Concession areas.
It is 2.5 million acres of unfenced government conservancy hunting ground.
The area borders Etosha National Park.

The success rate for leopard in the area is around 75%

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!

John,
I would fly Delta direct from Atlanta to Joberg. 15hrs 45 min or so…overnight In Joberg and take a quick morning flight to Windhoek…drive from there
otherwise you fly to Munich most likely then to Windhoek…
your in Atlanta so to me that’s an obvious choice
the only other consideration is traveling with a gun and clearing in two countries whereas maybe you wouldn’t have to if you fly through Germany and don’t clear customs

Exactly! If I had not just returned from a leopard hunt, I would be booking this myself. Guys, this is a great deal...lower daily rates...lower trophy fee...pre-baiting included, which is expensive!

Jamy - We are extremely pleased to be hunting with you. Please have your people send us all needed info. THANKS, Richard
We are just as excited to have you guys! All information sent, and looking forward to your arrival!

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
