NAMIBIA: BOWHUNT: Bowhunt In Namibia

I passed on a big eland bull while hunting near Otavi with Pieter and someone asked for a picture of him. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, if that's true, then there's no telling how many there are for a three minute video. I'm no expert on Eland, but he looks huge to me, especially when he was at thirty yards. I told Pieter, my house isn't big enough for him. LOL

Nice bull Dee! I think i would have squeezed the release.

That's a beast of a bull. Blue shoulders with that thick mop of his head. A great mature bull.

Eland are some impressive animals and even better eating. I took a eland with tobie engelbrecht. My first African trophy in Namibia back in 06. I will never forget him walking in and sucking the cattle trough dry. someday I will take another if given a chance but one never knows what Africa offers a bow Hunter.

I may be wrong, but I Believe that Tobie is Pieters cousin? If so, then their home properties are next to each other. But that bull was several hours north, up on property bordering Etosha.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
