Simon posts show a great passion for his area. You should have a great time. We will be waiting for the tell-all report :D Beers:

Can't wait to see some pictures and read your report! Mozambique is on my bucket list!
Welcome to AH!

Gonna have fun with Simon!

Enjoy!

Welcome aboard Neil P, what will you be hunting? What have you hunted in NZ? What caliber rifle will you be using on your safari? Hopefully AH will prove helpful in making your last minute preparations. Enjoy your hunt, be willing to take what the bush gives you. Looking forward to future posts that include not only this hunt but your previous outings in NZ as well.

Welcome to AH sir. I have traded many emails with Simon and find him to be a good chap. I suspect you will have a great hunt.

What are you hunting:
Lion?
Leopard?
Sable?
Buffalo?

Welcome to AH Neil P!

Welcome to AH. Simon is indeed active here. Thus many of us would love to read a hunt report after you finish up. Best of luck and shoot straight. Bruce

Good luck on your hunt. Would love to go there someday. Can't wait for the report.

Good luck and shoot straight

Welcome & congratulations. Heard nothing but excellent things about Simon & TMS.

Hope you have a great hunt! Look forward to hearing about it.

Sable is first priority and anything else that's a bit slow to get out of my way. Shot a Buff in Zambia last year and a Leopard in Namibia a few years back. I decided to go with Simon after seeing his posts on here plus have read your account Brickburn of your trip with him. 5 more sleeps

Have hunted all NZ game several times over with trophy class of all species. Red, Sika, Fallow, Whitetail, Rusa, Sambar, Wapiti, Thar, Chamois, Pig. Have made a living from hunting and trapping (possums) all my life so about 45 years experience. Starting to get the hang of it now. I will use a gun from Simon as too much of a hassle travelling with one these days.

You've chosen wisely ;) (y) I'm sure you will have an awesome hunt! Can't wait to hear about it when you get back. Have fun and shoot straight!

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
