It has been severely dry around Wickenburg this year and the wildlife are coming into town to drink from the many horse water troughs. There have been bear, deer and elk sightings this summer. Deer are pretty common but elk, bear and mountain lions are very rare.

pretty crazy. One her friends has a camera in a wash within a half mile in a wash by safeway that gets all kind of animals in his fountain. Im just suprised there is somebody from wickenburg on this site. Me and my dad tried to find a box of shotgun shells and had to drive to Suprise to find some!

I live within walking distance to Safeway...... :)
There are deer, Javelinas and of course coyotes living in the neighborhood. Oh, and a bobcat, too. There are now 3 gunshops in Wickenburg but not much in the way of inventory. Fortunately, there are no big box stores in town......yet!

There are LOTS of mountain lions here in SE Arizona. Not uncommon to see them when out in the hills, even on the edges of towns. A nearby neighbor lost a bunch of goats to a lion - right in the pasture next to her house.

Worth buying a lion tag to carry while deer hunting. We also have a surprizing number of bears.

Funny you are by safeway. If you turn up at the urgent care was where we were. She sold that house and is now just a few blocks away. Havnt been to the new house yet, but still close. I might need some info in a couple months on those gun shops. Glad to know im in good company down there!

We spend the winter in Queen Valley some 45 miles east of Phoenix. This spring and winter residents have sighted cougars, bobcats, wolf or two, coyotes, javalena and supposedly even a bear. I can’t vouch for any of these sightings ( especially the bear) but folks are certainly seeing the critters.

This past spring there was a bear with 2 cubs sighted just south of Wickenburg out near the old Vulture Gold Mine. I have not heard of any other sightings of them.

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
