Does anyone know how to interpret MRC serial numbers?
They seem to use a letter, two numerical digits- then four numerical digits. (Example: C18-0123) My guess is the letter designates the model, two numerical digits designate year of manufacture, and four numerical digits is the order in which that model rifle was manufactured that particular year. Therefore, in my example, a classic model, manufactured in 2018, number 123. Just a guess.
