I bought this to rebore to a 9.3 but decided it shot too well. So I hunted it on nice days and now I just have too many irons in the fire and need to move a few along.
For those who are not familiar with the Alaskan
25 inch high gloss blued barrel
Brass bead/white diamond iron sights
Factory bedded walnut stock
The action on this one is unbelievable smooth. As good or better than any tikka or Sako I’ve handled.
Feeds like butter. Moa trigger breaks clean around 3 pounds.
This is a highly accurate example. I’ve tested 3 or 4 factory loads and nothing shoots over an inch. (3 shot groups) never tried 5 as this is a hunting rifle and I don’t care to heat my barrels like that. I hand load 125 grain Nosler BT at 3300 and it’s a half inch rifle.
Stock has 0.0 scratches, dents, dings
Has a scratch on floor plate that’s pretty minor.
Other than that it’s excellent condition.
I’ve never sold on here but decided to give it a try.
I will ship in hard case from a reputable brick and mortar ffl. In either Billings or Big Timber Montana You can call them to confirm they have rifle before you pay. Asking 1300 shipped.
