Thank you very muchAs we had a short discussion about new barrels for the Mauser 66, here are three sources in Germany:
Henneberger GmbH & Co. KG
www.henneberger.de
It seems that Gustav Jehn GmbH, Lippstadt, whom stocked parts for the Mauser 66, is out of business. Does anyone know anything of their whereabouts? If out of business, where did the parts go? Looking for 2 recoil lugs and 2 receiver rings for Model 66 Big Game.
Unusual design, but compact (10 cm shorter than other actions like Rem 700), robust and reliable (bolt face 30% stronger than k98), easy barrel and caliber exchange…Sorry but seriously fugly....was my first thought on seeing one in a magazine years ago....

Aye they remind me of this lost pet poster I once saw and had to take a picture ofYup glad you happy and like them...but my opinion for me still stands ...fugly....like those R8 and blaser doubles ...at least I am consistent![]()

How hard is it getting one shipped out?I love them, but they are weird.
My dealer has about 30, here in Germany.
I have my name on three I need to go pay off in 5,6x57, 6,5x68, and I think the 3rd one is a 308. The cost of the 3 of them was less than 2000 Euros.
He has them in the walk in safe in his shop in my corner, as I have more guns than I have room in the safe for.
We have dealers who are focused on exporting rifles. I think it depends also how easy you can import rifles...How hard is it getting one shipped out?
I’m curious as to European pricing, as someone in Canada has a diplomat for sale in 8x68 for $4000We have dealers who are focused on exporting rifles. I think it depends also how easy you can import rifles...
PS: shipping brass from Germany to Canada took already more than 4 weeks...
