Just looking over your website, and I have a question about Namibia trophy law.
Your page says
Prohibited PracticesIt is illegal to hunt for trophies:
At night and/or with an artificial light;
that do not qualify in terms of the minimum measurement requirements as specified by the MET, Namibian Quality Control. If trophies do not meet this requirement, they do not have to be paid for. Exceptions are trophies with abnormalities and age deformities, which are taken home by the client, (Refer to the NAPHA Medal Brochure for minimum measurements.); and
in contravention of the Fair Chase principals as stated in the NAPHA Code of Conduct.
The immediate export of trophies from Namibia is possible only with a veterinary certificate, an export permit from the MET and the import permit as required by the country of final destination.

Does this mean if the client and guide decide to shoot, but it turned out the conditions led to shooting an animal that was perhaps too small, there is no trophy fee for that animal?

That is correct. Is is the ph responsibility to ensure that all trophy animals shot meet the minimum requirement of Namibian quality control established by MET. That is the reason why ph in Namibia is tested thoroughly on horn estimation in their practical exams.

I really appreciate that! And your speedy response.
I seem to learn a little something almost every time I hit up the forums

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
