I've been loading 28 years but I can't seem to find published data for this weight range.
I'm just wanting a varmint and linking load but I'm running a short barrel.
Modern firearm (steyr), so, not worried about pressures.
Thank you in advance.

I know Lapua publishes data for their 185 grain hollow point.

I can’t find it at the moment but it’s available.

You could look at 35 Whelen data for ideas.

The 35 Whelen has slightly less powder capacity and a slightly smaller bore, so using Whelen data at any given bullet weight has a built in margin of safety especially if you work up from starting loads.

Sorry the lightest I shoot is the Norma 232 grains but it is very effective on varmints. I have taken groundhogs to coyotes with it. As far as plinking I stick to 22 calibers.

Vihtavuori has some data for 185, 193, and 220 gr bullets. Of course, only Vihtavuori powders are listed.

Funny this thread started up when it did. I went to my LGS today and found a box of these.

Those are more than likely for the 9.3x72 which is very old Cartridge with limited power (think 35 Rem max) or the rifles so chambered are of very limited strength ?

So shouldn’t be driven too fast !

I have some similar from one of my Tikka Lite 9.3x62 previous owners as he didn’t like the recoil & only shot half the box of factory cartridges before selling the rifle, but I couldn’t drive them at any great speed & mine are flat nose .

Same as the ones I just picked up.

I'm wanting to shoot her a lot this coming year in practice for Alaska.
Those are some respectable velocities.

contact CEB bullets and ask for load data for their 200 gr Raptor and ask them for loads running 62,000 psi they respond in a couple days and that bullet and their 210 gr shoot well

I will be looking for a set of these when my .505 is done... sadly not cashed up right now for these. :(
Need anything in trade?
Cheers,

what kind of velocity does the 140 grains list, curious how they would fit in with my current 130 gr, supply of 270s. maybe a pic of the box data listing vel. and drop. Oh and complements on that ammo belt, nice.
