Liberty Safe suppling back door codes to the FBI. Not sure if other safe companies are doing the same. Check your safe and inform your friends. Leave a comment if you find that other companies have done the same.

I wonder if this would work with a spin dial vs an electronic key pad.

I'm not happy with Liberty safes. Evidently they have been doing this for a while. Needless to say I'm not buying my next one from them. Backfire did a report on it, the two manufacturers he questioned did not do this. This is worse than the benchmark knife fiasco. I have not sent a dime thier way since that deal, Liberty will not get another dime from me either.

I would imagine both, to make matter worse for Liberty...they were not named on the warrant. The were just supplied the warrant and they complied with the request for the code. That is their policy.

Benchmade? I guess I missed something?

Might help clear some things up for some people.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
