Left Hand Shotgun - I want One

I had a Right hand Berreta A400 and sold it after a season because my buddy wanted it and I knew I was going LH.

I shot a LH Benelli SBE 3 (I believe it was a 3) in 12 Ga on my recent hunt in Canada. Nice, light, fast and recoil wasn’t an issue. I had a couple shells get hung up during the ejection cycle due to me not completely shouldering the Benelli, but that was my fault. Shooting a brushed in stand up blind can be tricky as the shotgun can get snagged or if you rush a shot trying to clear a branch and not completely shouldering the gun.

I’ve shot Berreta and Browning for waterfowl for well over 20 years and prefer a gas actuated shotgun. I still have a Nova in 12 Ga I hunt deer with in LA…

I found myself looking at Benelli LH several times!

That one in the middle is a SBE3.

I haven’t seen one in left.
So far the true left hand semi auto ones available are-

Fabarm XLR
Benelli SBE3 and M2 (some have poi issues)
Beretta A400
Win SX4
Franchi Affinity

anyone have experience with these?
I have the Franchy Affinity 3 for left-handers. Very light, comfortable and accurate; same manufacturer and same parts as the Benelli M2 for half the price! The only difference is that the recoil spring is located under the barrel and not in the stock. The best value for money!

I was the only one shooting it and it was very accurate with whatever choke was In it!
I’ve been extremely disappointed in factory chokes as a whole. They have all been off by several thousandths (some at .004” and up) and even some have been egged…right from the factory, won’t thread into the barrel. All my factory chokes sit in a box somewhere.

The lone exception is my Blaser F3, but they outsource their chokes to Briley. Top notch stuff used by many competitive shooters.

All my other chokes are Carlson’s and Müller. Carlson’s will get you 95% of the Müller results at half the price. Both have been incredibly accurate when it comes to measurements and pattern testing. And they both have exceptional customer service and support.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
