If you had to chose between a All copper or lead core for dangerous game throughout americas and Africa what do you chose?

Or maybe TBBC, which is some of both?

For me, it’s more about bullet quality than looking at construction alone.
So for my 7x57mm Mauser, I use Winchester Super X cup & core bullets (now discontinued) and Nosler Partition bullets. Both of these are lead cored.
For my 12 gauge, I use Rottweil lead birdshot and copper plated Federal OOO buckshot.
In a .30-06, I’ll use Remington Core Lokts and Sako Hammerheads. Both of these are lead cored.
In a .375 Holland & Holland Magnum, I’ll use Trophy Bonded Bear Claw bullets and Rhino Solid Shank bullets for hunting most game. Both of these are (at least partially) lead cored. When using the same caliber on elephant, I’ll use Norma 300Gr monometal solids. I believe this is all copper or brass.
In a .600 Nitro Express, I’ll use Labor Fur Ballistik copper jacketed TMR (soft point) and VMR (FMJ) bullets. Both of these are lead cored.

Lead is more for action, Copper is for depth.

Swift for all softs except cats, then Noslers. Mono solids ( Barnes banded) where powder capacity is not marginal. Trophy bonded sledgehammers where powder capacity is an issue ie the 458 Lott.

For most game I prefer Swift A-Frames. If I can't find them then I fall back on Barnes TSX's. For solids I use the Woodleigh Hydro Stabilized solids.
For north American whitetail my preferred bullet is the Nosler Ballistic tip.

By choice, copper.
Peregrine Bushmaster for expandable work.
Peregrine Solids for solid work.
.
Under current availability, I'd use Swift A-Frames or Trophy Bonded Bear Claws for exandables if I ran out of the Bushmasters I have for my 375 Ruger.

While the all copper CEB 180gr Maximus is the perfect projectile for my 308 Norma Mag, I have chosen to use lead core for Buffalo. For Buffalo I am planning on using the Swift A Frame or North Fork soft. I am concerned the Raptor, or any monolithic, is much more likely pass through which makes me concerned about accidental injury. Otherwise, I would very happily use the monolithic CEB offerings.

Barnes TSX/Barnes Banded Solid in MODERN steel barrels. Woodleigh bonded softs and solids in antique doubles.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
