Can you access Kindle Books on a laptop while in Africa? Such as RSA, Botswana, Namibia, etc. Really need to know please.
Not everyone has a kindle or wants to buy a dedicated reader. Case in point, only reason I ever got the app was because the book I wanted wasn't available anywhere in print but kindle had it. So I had to, begrudgingly, become a kindle app user. For me the ipad or my laptop are just easier instead of having to buy yet another device to keep up with. My ipad doesn't leave the house but my laptop gets used for stuff when I'm in the office and when I have downtime I can just load it up. Just my two cents on my reasoning and why TakeMeLord is asking.Yes. But if you have your kindle why would you want to read them on a laptop? You can download a bunch onto the kindle before you go or via WiFi once you’re there.
Interesting. I can’t stand reading on my laptop or iPad. The way they are lit wears my eyes out. I didn’t take either iPad or computer to Africa but I don’t leave home without my kindle. Fits in a back pocket and the battery lasts almost two weeks even with heavy use.Not everyone has a kindle or wants to buy a dedicated reader. Like Tanks, I also have the app on my phone. Laptop and ipad didn't go to Africa on any of my adventures but the phone was with me. While not the best thing, it works. My iPad I figured out how to adjust the settings inside the kindle app to make the brightness and screen actually enjoyable when reading. But like you said, to each their own, I honestly still prefer a paper book in hand over anything.Interesting. I can’t stand reading on my laptop or iPad. The way they are lit wears my eyes out. To each their own but for me the kindle is the one piece of technology I love and don’t want to lose.
