In memoriam - Pieter Erasmus from Pawprint Safaris passed away

Really enjoyed my two hunts with Pieter in 2014 and 2016. He introduced me to Africa and gave me the return bug. I’ll always remember the excitement he had after i got my bow Kudu. I think he was as happy as i was. A special man. I’m still in disbelief he has passed. Here is a post hunt harvest photo with Pieter and our PH’s and hunters.

Sad news about Pieter's passing, I hunted with Pawprint in 2018 with Charlie, Bill, Toby and my Father. He was a gracious host and did everything he could to make our African dreams come true. It is a true loss to the hunting community.

I just found out about Pieter. We hunted there twice with him.
Very sad to hear this. Very good, honest man and outfitter.

We all had a great trip!

Pieter also introduced me to hunting Africa. He was a great guy. He told me he wanted to "make hunting Africa available to the working man". He did that for me definitely. He was also a wealth of great knowledge. I wish him a beautiful eternity with God and I wish peace for his sister and his girlfriend.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
