An old couple were smuggling animals across the border in their car when a customs official indicated that they should pull over.
As he approached the vehicle from behind the husband said "quick, hide the animals!"
He threaded a rattle snake through the eyes of his trousers like a belt, hooked the chamelion to his keys like a key-ring and stuffed the armadillo in his shirt like a beer belly but saw his wife was having difficulty finding a place to hide the skunk........

"stick it in your knickers" he said

grimacing, she replied "what about the smell?"
