Hi

Does anyone know where in South Africa can I hunt an axis deer for less than R15000?

Axis deer is from INDIA called- CHEETAL and you might hunt them in the US , do no know if you cud hunt them in Africa.

I do know a person in South Africa with Axis, also blackbuck, but it is the same price as the price Dox have maybe the same person.

I looked around for ..

I found some folks with bison, Arabian Oryx, Scimitar-horned Oryx, Indian Blackbuck but no axis... sorry !

If it makes you feel better that price is not to bad. It is about 2000US.

Over here a trophy axis deer hunt runs 1800-2500 so I would say they are about in the middle. Of course there is nothing wrong with trying to find a better deal, we all do..
 
Your not likely to find any place that have those sort of exotics going at less than what you were quoted.
