For those with a keen eye and a sense of adventure, we are also home to two of the elusive ‘tiny ten’, proving that every creature here has its own story and challenge.

Vegetation is a blend of thornveld and grassland, with hardy camel thorn trees (Vachellia erioloba) providing much-needed shade. In summer, their pods sustain much of the wildlife.
Though often called a semi-desert, the Kalahari is surprisingly full of life. After the rains, grasses flourish, flowers bloom, and game disperses across the landscape. In the drier months, animals gather at pans and waterholes, where encounters are inevitable.
But this wilderness can be unforgiving. Summer days can easily climb above 110°F, while winter nights often fall below freezing. To hunt the Kalahari is to embrace its extremes - tough, wild, and unforgettable.
