Have fun Mort, very envious. Lots of pics and a report upon your return.
Thanks! Right trip, right time. Working too much and this just struck my fancy. I only hope my report is worthy of the bar you set so high! Hope you love the south. Other than the oppressive humidity we been having of late. Can’t wait to see pics of your new trophy room.
Training for the hunt by sleeping less, congrats! You are taking the hunt to a whole new level, love it!
Our nkwe stand.... Nice Serval.....
Well hot diggity damn. Quite the smorgasbord of night life! You are killin me!
Nice Buffalo on bait....
Leopard on our m3 bait....
Need more bait..... They cleaning me out.... Mort we will need to shoot cull animals in the day time....
I am up to the task Mon’ Capiton. Cocked, locked ready to rock.
BTW I must have missed leopard and buff on the night critter list but makes the price that much sweeter LOL
It is finally here. What started this thread is now only 12 hours away from kickoff. I leave Nashville to Chicago, where I board Qatar with a stop in Doha to arrive Friday morning at 4:35 AM in Joberg. A sleepy little drive up the road to Limpopo and then a couple of weeks with Dawie Kemp. If it were not for the 15 hour work days trying to get caught up for being gone, I probably would not sleep tonight. Like Christmas Eve for a big kid. Report to follow.
Go get em. Good luck and shoot straight. Will be watching for the report
You bet! Straight shooting is a product of practice and experience. I should be good to go, but will always accept the blessings of good luck. Staying awake for a 3:00AM critter call on the other hand could be my Achilles heel. LOL
Have fun on the hunt! I’m curious to see photos of the blind and what it is like to do a night hunt as I haven’t done one (yet). This feed has me super interested!
I am curious to see all this myself. I have sat a few times for evening hunts, but only for a couple of hours out of a typical bush blind. Will definitely share photos and details. Thx.
