Hmmm...Sable or Lioness?

Sad but true...Classicsafari

If the hunt is what you are after then ask how it will be conducted.
Tracking Lion is far more sporting and fun than "diesel stalking" a Sable.

Last year the second client in camp was after Sable and we had been seeing it in different locations and times of day...

I must say that once the spot was made the stalk was on and by foot i will add...it was great watching the PH and Client make there move on such a fine animal...

Either one will make a great trophy. I would normally say the Sable, but the more I keep dreaming about Africa a lioness will be in my game plan. I do believe it will become much harder & pricey to hunt lions - so now could be the time! With either choice have a great hunt!

Oh a majestic Sable Bull, I might be hunting one next year in mozambique.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
