Offering for sale my Heym 8.15x46r Schutzen rifle. Quite a fancy old rifle with a 30” barrel. Bore and mechanicals are good. A few notable wood imperfections, please see photos. Very accurate rifle. The 8.15x46r can be made from common 30-30 cases. I do have some custom loads I will offer to the buyer reasonably priced. This gun is from the early 1900s and very solid. Please make sure your ffl accepts shipments from individuals.

I would take $2000 and offer FREE shipping to your ffl.

I have history on this site, gunsinternational, and gunbroker under prairie bird gun.

Extraordinary engraving.

These guns shoot very well, mine likes 150gr- 190gr hard cast gas checked. Like he mentioned, 30-30 brass works, it is a little short, but doesn't seem to matter. These are 200M off hand rifles. I wish I could afford this one to add to my collection.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
