Heym 89B For Sale

These comments on too heavy are interesting. If 12 is too heavy, what are people wanting...10 lbs?

Beautiful wood on that Double.
The optimal weight according to Heym for the 470/500 doubles is 11.5 pounds. They feel that’s the best to help manage recoil and still remain balanced.
The 577 I am having made normally is around 12.5 lbs but I’ve asked it to be closer to 13.5 lbs as I have no problem carrying the extra pound and have shot a 577 at almost 14 pounds and found it comfortable to shoot.

idk .. there's a 10lb .500 here (never shot)?
The 10lb Jeffery is not too bad, but this is all in practice, not field experience.

11lbs .. I agree, I've never seen anything like this, again. VC Eloge.

Can I sidetrack this, to anyone who knows ..
Is this called embossed or deep relief engraving? .. Thank you.

Adrenaline @ 14 lbs.
Really looking forward to your .577
Best regards, Dan.

That’s a lot of figure for a stopping caliber. I’m sure they laid it out well. Beautiful and unique.
