Has Anyone Ever Shipped a Full Mount Croc?

I can't remember what my last crate from Africa cost to ship back, but I do well remember that my taxidermy bill was the same price as my safari bill, and that was even with saving a ton of money having it done in SA. My son and I did however hunt in Spain in 2024 and took two record book Iberian red stags. We had both of them done in Euro mounts which only costed $250 each. They were shipped back to the states in a single crate of about 40"x52"x18" and the shipping cost was $1,600! I would expect a crate holding an almost 14' crock to cost quite a bit.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
