There are lots of options and folks can prove pretty opinionated as to their own, but have to admit most of the companies making heavy duty rotomolded plastic cases seem to serve folks really well. I was traditionally a SKB case fan for years and years, both for rifles/shotguns/bows…and still think they are great, but last 8-10 years I leaned towards Pelican Protector (also possibly known as their classic) cases. I have one 1750 case that I have no idea how many trips it’s made, and looks pretty beat up from the purposeful mishandling that some baggage folks show rifle cases in rural Alaska where non-local hunters are disfavored. But the interior and contents have always proven safe and snug.Ok have 2027 SA buff hunt coming up. Planning on taking a bolt rifle and my Chapuis 470 NE. Should I put both rifles in one case? Also which brand of gun case do you recommend.
