USA,
New guy here. I've lurked around for awile before deciding to join, enjoying the great information posted on here. Looking forward to gleaning more info as I plan my first plains game hunt in South Africa. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to AH Kevin!!

Welcome to AH Kevin! Have you decided on an outfitter yet? What species are you after?

Howdy!

Enjoy!

Welcome to AH Kevin.
I have heard of some trickle of water north of the Limpopo called the Zambezi.

No I haven't settled on an outfitter just yet. I'm going to do a basic plains game package with Gemsbok probably being the largest. Just getting my feet wet before I plan a 20+ day hunt in a few years

Welcome aboard Kevin, it's always good to see the locals join us.

Welcome to AH Kevin! Enjoy the planning if you have any questions just fire away.

Welcome aboard!

My rule is stay in Africa at least 10 days and plan to shoot an animal a day.

All that travel and fixed expense must be spread over more days and more animals to make it "economical"! :)

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Welcome to AH Kevin! What part of the great state of Texas do you call home?

I'm in Orange, Tx at the moment. I was transfered from Houston a few years ago by the plant I work for

Welcome Kevin,
Wishing you all the best for your planning. Gemsbok is a great animal to hunt!

All the best
Jono

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx
