2018 marks the 65th anniversary of the first ascent of Everest. As climbers intent on achieving their own Everest summits are heading to the Himalaya in Nepal, Global Rescue is deploying its highly trained personnel to Nepal for the spring climbing season to conduct rescue and evacuation missions for climbers in distress.
