Giraffe finally made it home

Long story short. It was in the freezer for years! My taxidermist had ongoing health issues and finally finished it. Surprisingly, the ears were still good and I’m happy with the results. Picked it up from Reno this morning and got it into my office…

I do love it… Some of my oldest buddies come by for a visit and have a beer or glass of wine, but it’s standing room only. I had to remove all the furniture! I have trophies stored everywhere… And I’ve got 12 animals coming from Bullseye. And 10 from NZ! Including 3 Huge Stag. I’ll probably also do a Hippo Reproduction shoulder mount. The skull is being shipped too.

So now I’m in negotiations on a 1 Acre place, with a house already on it, in Reno to build this:

Giraffe is great. Always amazes me how big the noggin is on a giraffe. I have a couple of skulls on my porch and they’re huge.

They are a very majestic challenge like nothing else I've ever hunted before or since.

I'm headed to Scotland in Sept. to chase after a few of their cousins.
