I picked up this little rifle today - Gibbs Farquharson in .303 British. The rifle was originally owned by Sydney Holland, who was the Viscount Knutsford, Kneesworth Hall, Royston. The rifle is fitted with a QD mounted Kahles scope which is engraved with the original owners title. The scope was originally supplied by John Rigby, with 'Telescope by John Rigby, 72 St James St, London' engraved on the tube. Looking forward to taking this one out for a shot at Christmas.

By any chance do you know the year of manufacture. It is a magnificent piece.

Gibbs Farquharson #906 was made for the Prince of Wales ca. 1896 for reference.

A very beautiful firearm indeed, congratulations!

Classic!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
