This picture was taken in KZN following a successful nyala hunt. We had found three big bulls together, and had been searching for them for several hours. We stopped over a waterhole, and 5 elephant came to drink. A few minutes later, our nyala group showed up. I shot this bull, and of course everything scattered. We found my bull, and were setting him up for pictures, when the young elephant bull took offense and decided to break up the party. We abandoned the photo session, taking pictures of the scene as we retreated, and someone was lucky enough to get this photo. It's my favorite personal photo all-time. Hope you enjoy ...

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
