Found my new bow

Well I just got in a Athens REVELATION and this bow is crazy fast and holds so nice. I shot my 475grn arrow over the chrono and got 311fps but think the chrono is reading Low so I did the walk back tune 2 arrows at 20yards then 2 at 40 yards same poa with the 20 pin came up with a 13 25" group spacing putting the bow over 320fps! Shouldn't have a problem in Africa getting pass thru shots.

You will be fine. My friend and I were using 445gr arrows w 1.25 cut expendables both bows were around 305fps. From impala warthog and up to kudu all passed thru.

This is the fastest bow I've owned can't believe the broad heads fly so good with the speed. Shot my little 3d set up with it and was killing the 12 rings

That looks like the 6" brace height model, which is 350 FPS IBO Speed. That certainly is a fast bow. Have a blast!

Yea it's the 6" brace. I've had a lot of bows that claim 350+.first time one has broke that and doest try to rip my arm off.

Athens makes a great bow. My 2014 Afflixtion is so smooth and fast it'll take me a couple more years to move on. But when I do it's a good bet it will be for another Athens.

True is 31. Bow goes to 30"

Sounds about right. My PSE pushes close to that, but my draw is 29", so I'm a few FPS slower with my 470gr arrow.

Wow. What lbs is ur bow set at? I got pass thru's on all plains game at a similar weight Fmj arrow shooting 256 fps. 29" draw 70 lbs out of a 318 IBO bow. You can pass thru two critters if you line them well. Lol.

Man that sucks it's not to hard to send a bow. Might take a little bit of time.

Bow was at 72lbs, they seem to be hotter with shorter draws too
