For Sale BRNO 602 .458 Lott Custom For Cheap

Hey, who in the hell hasn’t been “Reamed” on a gun deal in their life? When I thought I knew about Colt SAA’s once! By the time I was done with that little hobby, I felt like I had been in the shower of a prison for a year straight! Severely REAMED! But I did learn A LOT more about Colts, just a real hard lesson!

@Bullthrower338, you have a wonderful way with words:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Ya ought to come down to DSC and we can have a few drinks at dinner! My descriptions get even more vivid with a single malt or two! Lol

@Bullthrower338, I hear you, I will have to make it down there sometime. Especially with winters being so lovely that time of year in WI.

What a bunch of wimps!:eek:o_Oo_O:D:D:D :rolleyes: I wouldn't own that thing myself, but that is a good deal. As far as payments, standard drill on GB, doesn't say anything about "cash only", just no CC, so what? No inspection period? Also normal for GB, I list my stuff the same way, ask questions and ask for pics of things. IF I were looking for something like that, NOT:eek:, I would have already sent payment. Aint no guarantees in life guys. And no it isn't mine, nor do I know the seller but he is a big time GB guy with A+ feedback over 3300 transactions. Weenies!:eek::D:D:D

Well put me on a bun and put mustard and relish on me.

I got an email from GB. "You are not winning this item". Sonofabitch, I'm so disheartened.

Bid is at $705 with three days to go. I sent an email question requesting the name or company of the gunsmith who did the rechambering. That was over a week ago, no reply. FAIL. (n)

That just means three days to the gun gets a new home.

Likely the seller does not know but at least they could have at minimum told you that much.

The work (which is actually a fair bit) looks to have been well done (not sure about the painted stock...I guess it's a style thing, something somebody must've wanted). Pictures are obviously no proof, though. Regardless, had I the money, and the need, I'd take the chance. But, I have neither (already got a Lott, and don't have a thousand dollars, give or take, laying around).

I've found more than one gunbroker seller lax at answering questions.

Like lots of them!

Well someone got a bargain!

How much did it go for? I forgot to watch the end of the auction.

$786 final and winning bid. I got a kick out of the ad copy "powerful enough for just about anything". Probably wouldn't be a good choice for Jurassic Park.

And NO, I didn't win.:(

For $786 I probably would have taken a chance on it.. thats not a terrible deal (despite that being one ugly rifle :) )..

The buyer got lucky. All it takes is one other person bidding to drive the price into more realistic territory. This is how I console myself (we’re I bidding, between I and the other, we’d be somewhere north of $1,000 before one of us gave up).

Yes, Only the site and the bidder know what was his top bid. It could have been $1000.
When I get involved in these auctions I sometimes put in my highest bid. These auctions are littered with shills and the sites do a poor job of policing them. I'd bet even money there were a few bids on this rifle from the seller's shills.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
