Greetings all, headed to Namibia for first Africa trip in a few weeks. Was planning mostly Euro mounts but now thinking I better have a taxidermist lined up.

Any favorite taxidermists in central Texas with Africa experience? I am in Austin but don't mind driving a few hours.

Thanks!

Authentic Trophies Taxidermy in La Vernia. David Verrips has done a ton of Africa work.

Hey Ablebonus,
If your set on having them done in the states, check out B&B Taxidermy in Cypress, TX. 2 1/2 hours from Austin off of 290 and your there. I've known Mike Baird for the last 25 years and he does fantastic work. B&B probabaly does 85% of the Houston Safari Clubs members trophies.

Try Damuth taxidermy in Brady. They have mounted 12 African animals for me and at least another 15 for my African hunting partners. His quality is superb and he and his crew will go to any length to please their customers. You will love the finished product. Porsche73 aka Jerry Hoover

There's Woodbury in the Hill Country & Flagg Group in Dallas.... A couple to think about.... B&B north of Houston area.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc
