I should subscribe to the 24 hour cooling off period, but I am pissed! I ordered a scope from EuroOptic on May 22, 2026, and delivery was attempted yesterday. I paid the premium ($20.25 for shipping protection) as suggested. I was not here for delivery yesterday, but notification from UPS states delivery will be attempted on the next delivery day (obviously today). In short, a delivery from a May 22, 2026 order isn't (attempted to be) delivered until May 28, and then as nobody was here to accept delivery, I sat here in my office ALL DAY staring out the window to make sure I did not miss delivery. Here it is 6:00 CST so I called UPS to see when the driver would arrive and was told that the seller "requested return" due to "service interruption"!
I purchase a lot of glass and dare say I have likely bought $10K in glass over the last year or so from EuroOptic (in fairness, some I attribute to EuroOptic may have actually been from Optics Planet), but suffice it to say I purchase a lot from EuroOptic. They have been my go to since a transition from Doug at CameraLandNY over the last several years, but this is truly ridiculous. I pulled a Kahles off one of my Johannsen's for service and promised a friend I would have another scope on it for our "Block headed German hog hunt" tomorrow evening/Sunday am. Well, looks like that won't happen.
I post this for therapeutic purposes, but also as a what in the world question. Has anyone had a similar situation where delivery was attempted one time and then return was immediately requested from EuroOptic? If this is the case, I am flat out done from ordering from them. I need a Snickers, admittedly, but this is nonsense.

. Noted. I should have taken a 24 hour cooling off period. Just going by what UPS told me as EuroOptic is not available. UPS told me the "seller" requested return after one delivery attempt. I don't know how that could be inaccurate, but that is what I was told by UPS. Carry on. Good day to all.
