Looking for any details of Peter Mann Jones (now deceased). He was a BGH in Kenya in the early 70's apprenticed to Stan Laurence Brown. He had his own company, Peter Mann Jones Safaris Ltd, registered in Nairobi. I am trying to trace his family and any descendants - any connections or detail anybody can provide would be appreciated.
My thanks to any responders, You can PM me.

Hi Mark I briefly worked for Peter Mann Jones when backpacking in Cairns Queensland (He had a place in Cairns) around 1992. Peter stayed with his Wife (Apparently the daughter of someone high up in IBM computers) over the weekend and during the week he lived in a cabin about 3 miles off the main road up an old logging track in an area of rainforest North of Cooktown. As far as BGH I know he had a trophy room in his house in Cairns. I believe he also served as an officer with the Kenyan Rifles. I worked doing odd jobs on the property but had to leave after a month as I wouldn't put up with his bossy behaviour lol. Regards Steve Knox UK

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
