I have been using 270gr Hornady Interlocks in my 375 Ruger for stuff here in the US. Never an issue, but I haven’t hunting anything bigger than elk.
Fast forward, I started load development for my 375 H&H that I intend to take in my first plains game hunt. I figured Interlocks would work fine. I know many don’t like cup and core bullets on an expensive hunt. But hey, why not? I have several hundred.
My 375 H&H seater die (RCBS) won’t seat them without them getting stuck and then pulling free when I lower the ram. I would have to take the die apart to get the bullet out.
For some reason, TTSXs and A-Frames seat just fine. I think God is telling me something…
