does Delta fly Daily to Joburg or only certain days? looking to see what days might be the best price wise to fly there. even though there are really no good prices now. thanks

Delta flies 7 days a week usually.
I found when looking at prices before I booked June 2026, departure on Monday-Wednesday was cheaper than weekends. I saved $800 on Comfort Plus by booking departure on Wed. Vrs Thursday. Used that savings to stay an extra night at Africa Sky and rest up and allow for any delays and baggage issues.

Mark is correct.

Get the upgrade to whatever Delta calls business class. I think it was Premium Select or something like that when we went. Well worth the extra money.

the dates for next year I am working with Delta Comfort is 2200 to 2300 round trip and Premium Economy is 4000 plus. earlier this year I flew back Premium economy and it was nice but and I am not sure it is worth a couple thousand difference. Hopefully someone that has flown both will come on with their thoughts about the 2 types of class.

I just booked Delta from my home airport GRR (Grand Rapids MI) to ATL to JNB and on to Bulawayo and back in December of this year for $2425 in Premium Select. My T/A couldn't believe I found it and I had her book it for me immediately. Pays to check for yourself sometimes

When looking at flight options on the Delta website, try checking the box for “flexible dates.” A table will be generated that shows +/-3 days of your inputted dates. You will see how prices vary day to day.

I have flown Comfort and Premium.
I now prefer Comfort for the price. I am a big man, with tray tables in armrest in Premium I feel to confined and less room. This is just personal preference. I don’t see that much added for price. Premium does allow two free check bags comfort now only allows one free check bag

Helluva deal, but I think it’s because it’s December. I couldn’t get Premium Select to Maun for less than $4700 for September. Had to do some nonsense through 6 airports each way to save $1500

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
