Deer Hunting or Fishing?

Can't I do both ? Sit on the river bank fly rod in one hand ,rifle in the other !

Well I never had to fight to stay awake fishing while waiting for daylight, so it MUST be Deer Hunting. Yep that's it hands down, Deer Hunting.

Deer hunting all the way

Best of both worlds! Lol

Deer hunting, with fishing you spend more time operating the boat or fixing lines than relaxing.

Deer hunting, with out a doubt.

Fishing, when I'm deer hunting it's a constant search for that spec of movement especially during the rut when they can come at you on the run from any direction. Fishing is much more relaxing to me. Besides I'm willing to bet almost everyone that reads this has had buck fever at one time in their life and what the hell is relaxing about that. :A Bonk:

I HATE fishing... so the answer is easy for me...

My wife on the other hand.. I think it would be a toss up for her.. she really enjoys both..

:P Fisherman::P Elmer Fudd: to me fishing is more relaxing
I guess if you sit in a tree stand with a bow it can be just as relaxing but i like to be on my feet stalking animal

fishing the way i do it. drift the boat with a chum bag out and live shrimp. something hits. real it in. deer hunting i'm on edge to make sure i'm always looking 360 degrees so i don't miss one sneaking up on me.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
