An unfortunate by-product of the internet. Intended humor is often left behind and in its place an apparent snarkyness. Its why I often leave the rolleyes smiley with my posts, so at least its obvious I am trying to be funny (even when not obvious) while sounding snarky!

I haven't found the silly faces here just the post icons. Any that I use are typed in. I'll keep scouting around for them.

Mike, they're right there at the top of the header at the far right. Little yellow face thingy

Hmmm, well perhaps Brick or someone can explain this, I cant. But instead of using advanced, just try reply or reply with quote.

When you click "reply" button. Quick reply window will appear.
In the quick reply window you should see a header with various editing options in it, including a "smiley face".
It is a button, click on it and the list of faces/symbols will appear.

No. I just came back and logged in using Chrome instead of IE and it's the same. The box at the very bottom that shows posting permissins is showing the smilies are on.

I'll drop a note to Jerome and see just what's going on.

Until then I'll just type in the icons so there's less confusion.

There isn't anything like those headers on my screen. Could it be a setting on my `puter?
I don't have anything like this happening elsewhere..

I'm not computer literate so bear with me while I figure that out..
Basicly I see the blank title box in advancedand under that is the reply box with out and font choices ot any othe the options that you show on your screen shots.
In the quick reply the only thing above is the black bar that says quick reply.

Mike, Not sure what is happening here, all of this is very strange Search on Google on how to capture a screenshot.
