Bang to Sunset – A Family Safari Off to a Flying Start
We kicked off this incredible hunt with a serious bang! Our new clients from the USA—a father, his two daughters, and a close friend—jumped straight into the action, and what a first day it was.
After a quick stop at the shooting range to confirm zero, we headed into the bush, and the excitement never let up. First up, one of the daughters made a fantastic shot on a beautiful Impala ram, with flaring horn tips that make this trophy truly stand out. Well done, miss!
The morning continued with a challenging stalk on a Blesbok ram, and despite the wind, our huntress held steady and made it count—incredible shooting under tough conditions. Not long after, her sister followed suit with another stunning Blesbok ram, proving that determination runs strong in this family.
Dad wasn’t far behind, securing a classic Blue Wildebeest bull after a textbook stalk. The day kept delivering, with a Common Springbuck ram added to the tally, and just as the sun dipped below the horizon, one of the daughters closed the day with a striking Black Springbuck ram, bathed in golden light.
What a day! The Eastern Cape once again showed off its world-class stalking terrain and diverse game.
