Like the look, the bottom curve is a bit flatter ( particularly at the edges) for engraving and I added 20/1000” more depth to help with the 416 Taylor.

Interesting work, did you do the Taylor on the Standard or Magnum action ?

I put a ZKK 602 .458Win barrel on a ZKK 600 & it works well but I need to do some mag box work yet, feeds without trouble unmodified if run fast but only holds two cartridges well, 3 will be easy with the side rib removed.

In 7mm rem mag and I saw a cz catalog that listed the 416 Taylor!… did design a drop FP for 4 down but decided the look was not for the small action, so going with this one.

That is also interesting, i didn’t realise CZ did a magnum on the standard action, the magnums were only on the big 602 action in the Brno era .

Must keep an eye open for a CZ standard actioned magnum & find another .458win take off barrel .

This sold but they are out there. I bought my action from CZusa, when you could, along with the 7mm mag box and extractor. Now, the 458 was always the mag action and will see how the Taylor gets stuffed in.
