Hi those safari classic 2 rifles were hand built in Czech,republic to a similar standard as the Sako Safari rifles..2 types of finish matt oiled and rust type blue or english type oil and gloss blue(might be dlc like blaser use). i think they made about 200. Claytons in Aussie have a couple(they wouldnt export to NZ but i havent given up yet!) seen then in the uk priced at 11000 pounds, but the aussie price is much better . please see pics cheers Mark

yep they are how CZ should of made them first,the stocks arent big chunky things either, these are different to the US CZ made guns. And yeah they are classic in there own right! Sako also made a mistake stopping the Safari, i would of continued with them,as they only made a few a year and could of put aside actions for later, now theres none. So lets hope Mauser keeps the 98 magnum going!

That also explains why I have never seen one for sale in the US. That sucks, especially for me!

Someone on this forum talked to Sako about this, apparently they intend to release another line of rifles chambered in Safari Calibers, but it is yet to be seen. Not sure if they intend to produce the fancy Safari models, or something similar to the brown bear line. I have a couple of the brown bear models and I am quite fond of them
