I'm not clear exactly where you put the tape. Can you post an image. If you put the tape on the follower guide, you will need a different follower.
Loaded single round 15 time worked correctly ever time. Loaded 5 round cycled them through no problems last round fed fine
No, it’s been rechambered to Lott. My CZ Lott has bold stamped .458 Win Mag and .458 Lott from the factory. Some CZ rifles had both cartridges stamped like mine and some only had .458 Lott stamped. Go figure. Here is a pic of how the CZ is marked I believe this rifle was chambered in factory as a lott. I tried masking on the follower 3 layers on the bolt side back half of the follower. Here is the picture. It seemed to fix the extractor hitting the rim of the case problem. I will take some measurements of the follower to see if the one you recommended buying has a little more meat on it. .012 taller on that side.I'm not clear exactly where you put the tape. Thanks. A photo of the follower outside the receiver would be more revealing.View attachment 774311

Tape is starting to peel off a little but you can see positioning. Also a pic of the two mag springs. This was just one layer to show position but when I tried it it also cired the problem of extractor pushing rim of the last case. Did not measure it but if 3 layers are .012 then one must be.004.Thanks. A photo of the follower outside the receiver would be more revealing.
Is your thumb on the bolt handle side?Tape is starting to peel off a little but you can see positioning. Also a pic of the two mag springs. Glad the tape idea helped. So the tape on the flat horizontal part of the follower has no real effect. It raises the rounds a fraction higher. It is the 60 deg bevel that is effecting feeding. Try it to check by cutting off the flat sections. So basically the follower is not pushing the last round against the feed lip. Because it worked originally, I would suggest the spring has a slight twist. Try reverse twisting it. Otherwise a new follower( available online) or a welder can weld some extra material on the side of the follower to push it across or ad material to the angled 60 deg bevel.Tape is starting to peel off a little but you can see positioning. Trimming a bit off the bottom of the extractor claw might accomplish the same but gotta be careful. I'm not sure how easy it is to find replacement CZ extractors.0.012" isnt much and adding more might help more. Youre basically trying to keep the last cartridge rolled under the feed lip a little more, so that it doesnt stick up so much. It only needs to be high enough for the bottom of the bolt to push it forwards, and not so high that the extractor hits it first.
You could epoxy a 0.015" shim to the angled face of the follower if that thickness seems to be 100% reliable. Or, build it up a little with bondo and sand it down to the correct thickness.
I think purchasing a .458 lott follower will likely be the easiest thing though. Im sure somebody here has one that has a part number on it.
Not easy but I think you are correct. I will order a follower first and try that.Trimming a bit off the bottom of the extractor claw would accomplish the same but gotta be careful. I'm not sure how easy it is to find replacement CZ extractors.
