Considering building a rifle off of a CZ 550 long magnum action. My question concerns tenon diameter, length and whether the threads are metric or English.

We were just discussing CZ barrel threads on another thread here. “500 Jeffrey action options” is the thread title. Hope it helps.

I haven't measured one, but from what I've read it's a metric M28x2 thread. Note: The standard length action will have a smaller thread.

And the std 550 is M26x2.
I am sure I have dimensioned sketches for both but where?
However, better measure your action or take-off barrel, there might be variants.
