CZ 550 Safari Magnum .458 Winchester Magnum – For Sale
Rifle is a CZ 550 Safari Magnum in .458 Win Mag with a 25” barrel.Gentry Quiet Muzzle Brake installed, and the thread-protective cap is included (pictured).
Trigger is set crisp at 4 lbs.
This rifle was professionally upgraded by Tim Ditmore at Matrix Gunsmithing.
Work included full glass bedding with aluminum pillars, installation of a 3-position safety, and his feed-cycle corrections.
(From Tim: “I will smooth out the feed ramp and make sure chambering is improved. The CZ 550 is problematic and sometimes requires the geometry in the follower to be adjusted.”)
The rifle feeds, chambers, and extracts properly.
Wood is in excellent condition with only minor handling marks from safe storage.
